Practice on Testnet
Synchronicity is live on Hyperliquid mainnet, where deployed strategies trade real funds. If you want to learn the builder without real money on the line, testnet is the place to do it. It is a separate Synchronicity environment at testnet.synchronicity.xyz that runs against Hyperliquid testnet. Everything works the same as the mainnet app, but every order settles in test funds, so nothing here puts real money at risk. It is a good place to test how leverage and liquidation behave and rehearse a deploy before you run real funds on mainnet.
Testnet is a separate environment
Testnet is its own environment, walled off from mainnet. Balances, strategies, and history on testnet stay on testnet. Nothing you build or trade there carries over to the mainnet app at app.synchronicity.xyz . When you are ready to trade real funds, you build fresh on mainnet.
Get started on testnet
Connect on testnet
Connecting on testnet is the same flow as mainnet, just at the testnet URL. Go to testnet.synchronicity.xyz and click Connect account, then sign in with MetaMask, Rabby, or email. After you connect, 250 testnet USDC lands on your selected wallet. That is enough to start building and deploying.
Get more test funds
If you run out and want to keep practicing, you have three options.
- Hyperliquid faucet. Claim 1,000 testnet USDC from Hyperliquid’s testnet drip . This one requires having funds on Hyperliquid mainnet.
- Ask in Discord. Join the community Discord and ask the team, and they will coordinate sending you more testnet USDC.
- Deposit your own testnet USDC. If you hold USDC on Arbitrum Sepolia, the Deposit / Withdraw panel next to your balance moves it into your Hyperliquid testnet account.
Treat testnet like the real thing. Watch how a strategy behaves on live fills and learn what each leverage and size choice does, because the same habits carry over to mainnet.
